The Dockside Marine Collegiate Wakeboard Cable Jam 2011 was held Friday, March 25 through Sunday, March 27 at Bethy Creek Resort in Riverside, Texas. This was the first wakeboard cable jam hosted by Bethy Creek Wake Park. Riders for the wakeboarding competition were pulled by the ERC Infinity 2T cable system, the first two tower wakeboard cable system manufactured in the United States.
Twenty-five competitors from the Sam Houston State University, University of Texas San Antonio, Texas Tech and Texas A&M wakeboard clubs participated in the cable jam. There were approximately 80 people in attendance for the first year of this event. Prizes were awarded for all divisions. Obstacles included a two sided box, a rooftop rail, a kicker and plenty of room for air tricks. The contest ended with a fish fry Saturday night.

ERC was proud to sponsor cash prizes for the first place finishers in both the Novice and Women’s Divisions. Klint and Michelle Calongne were on hand to present the checks from Endless Ride Cable Systems to the first place winners in these divisions.
The Novice Division included obstacles open, no inverts, no air tricks, and spins to 360. The Advanced Division included obstacles open, inverts and spins up to 540 off obstacles as well as one wild card air trick. In the Women’s Division and the Wake Skate Division it was anything goes.
